As you can see our TOS Website's daily message has changed. With the last few weeks of ever-changing vessel information and continuous safety incidents we have felt it is best to communicate on a daily basis through this update. What to expect? This daily message will contain information regarding vessel arrival updates, safety incidents, and ongoing challenges we would like to communicate to all stakeholders that use our terminal and TOS page. It is advised to read this every day as it may container pertinent information for your operations. This message will be posted no later than 09:00 for the current workday. Daily Safety Message

Communication with Terminal Team Members:

- Please remind all drivers that they should be texting the trouble desk at (833-385-5293) for any and every issue they may observe or run into when on terminal. We have had more trucks not communicating with our team when problems arise and then those trucks sit without any knowledge from our team. We want to help them as soon as we are able, but we cannot do this without the proper communication.

FMC Demurrage Ruling - OSRA Changes

Effective Tuesday, May 28, 2024, the Port of Tampa Container Terminal will not collect demurrage on behalf of the Ocean Carriers.

Procedures to Dispute Demurrage Invoices
  1. To request a fee mitigation, refund, or waiver request, please submit supporting documentation to tampacustomerservice@portsamerica.com
  2. Invoice disputes - including requests for fee mitigation, refunds, or waivers - must be submitted within thirty (30) days of the demurrage invoice receipt.
  3. Requests for invoice review must be submitted with supporting documentation relative to the dispute.
  4. The following information is recommended to expedite the dispute resolution:
    1. A copy of the demurrage invoice
    2. Bill of Lading Number
    3. Container/Equipment Number
    4. Contact information of the disputing party
    5. Reason for the dispute (e.g., calculation error, etc.)
    6. Any pertinent information, documents, or email communications that may assist in reviewing the disputed charges
  5. If a formal dispute is not submitted within thirty (30) days from invoice receipt, all applicable invoice charges will be considered valid and due for payment in full.
  6. Tampa will review and complete the demurrage invoice resolution within thirty (30) days of receipt of the dispute.

Terminal handling for container inspection by US Customs and Border Protection, US Coast Guard or other US Government agency, for loaded or empty containers including unstacking, grounding, restacking, and related gate transactions:
